Selection Processes For Institutions
In three stages:
bullet 1st stage (short listing of eligible institutions)
  gbullet Fulfill eligibility criteria
  gbullet Conduct SWOT Analysis
  gbullet Prepare Eligibility Proposals (EP) in the format & submit  before the stipulated date to DTE after NPIU/State advertisement
    bbullet EPs evaluated & ranked  by DTE and approved by State Selection Committee.
    bbullet Evaluation & ranking of EPs by National Evaluation Committee (NEC) for short listing institutions
    bbullet National Project Directorate (NPD) to review the NECs recommendations & short list institutions to submit Institutional Development Proposal (IDP)
    bbullet NPIU commssunicates eligible institutions to State.
     
bullet 2nd stage (selection in SC 1.1 & 1.2 )
  gbullet Only short listed Institutions
  gbullet Prepare Institutional  Development Proposals (IDP) after invitation from State
  gbullet Submit IDPs in the format to the State before the stipulated date for selection in SC 1.1 & 1.2
    bbullet State screens IDPs for completeness & short listing
    bbullet NPIU also screens IDPs for completeness

  gbullet Screening of prossposals by NPIU, Evaluation & ranking by NEC and selection by NSC basing on NEC recommendations.
